ช่วยแนะนำร้านค้าขายเครื่องเล่น Dvd ที่ราคาถูก ไม่ย้อมแมว แถว ... Hongkong ให้หน่อยครับ
The majority of the store in HK "will not" do this. However, most tourist will love to shop in the tourist trap area along Nathan Rd (in Tsim Sha Tsui and Jordan area) in Hong Kong where lots of tactics were used. Most locals do not shop there. When they got caught, they close the shop, change the name and reopen under new owners. I believe current law has loophole on this.

I think it's cheaper in Singapore. Denon in HK is not easy to find these days, ie not available at large electronic stores

Fortress (owned by Hutchison Whampoa - Li Ka Shing) and Broadways as Denon stuff are slower to move.
I only know one shop on Hong Kong side at 7th Floor of Time Squares (Causeway Bay MTR station) where lots of Denon product are available. This shop was called Tai Lin and introduced to me by Denon HK (a branch of Denon from Japan, not the agent

Mahajak in Thailand) so I guess they are less likely to cheat you.
Also, this shop has been there

forever, (close to 10 years, I guess) so they are less likely to cheat little money/thing on you and lose their hard earned reputation. It does not worth to do it to tourist as for them, time is money. They may get into a legal mess with HK police which is very efficient and is unlikely to corrupt.
The honest and efficient HK police is one of the major pillar that supports its economy strenght, making people want to transact, set up office there. And they will not be easy on the one that is bad on tourist as it's one of their main revenue source to their countries now. Nevertheless, they can't deal with shop around Nathan Road due to loophole in their law so pls don't buy stuff from the Nathan Rd area and complain as you earn the trouble yourself.
