Thanks for the information.  I'll be sure to seal everything in plastic bags then.  I don't have foam in the amp, just cardboard.  I removed all the tubes.  I guess the tropical heat will melt foam.  HMMM.

Be careful of shipping tube amps back. When I moved back to BKK using surface shipping, my OPTs got rusty because of the humidity. Don't use foam for cushioning because it will melt. My friend use moisture absorber pack but it turned out even worse because it absorb too much water and it ruined his acoustic guitar. Oh, my turntable cover broke too.

As for turntable belt.  Audio Service shop in Washington DC asked for it krub.. I am trying to locate for him at reasonable price.. He normally charges me only a few dollars each. Lately I have a very good chance to get old equipments and can not avoid buyng them since I had no means to buy when I just came here in Washington DC area years ago. I just try to solve minor problems for used equipments. I have no interested in soldering it myself krub.
Will visit Thailand quite often krub.. but not to move back permanently yet.. but will later...

If you want to get a copy of the amp, then there probably a bunch of Chinese amp company that does a good rendition of the classics.� ASL, Jolida, Ming-Da, etc. Or if you want Thai made, I think Norh, TAS, SACThailand can cook you up a nice copy.� Probably more fun to build you own.
 
3.Shipping LP to Thailand. Probably not going to be cheap.� I'm moving back to Thailand soon and have a couple hundred LPs, a bunch of tube amps, a couple of tube testers, oscilloscope, meters, etc.� I'm brining back. But I'm getting a 20ft container� .� You're movig to Thailand too?� May I ask where from?

Sorry na krub that I have to write in English.

1. Where can I find rubber belt for turntable (record player) in quantities.. (23.6") ?
2. Are there any copied tube amp out there.. McIntosh, Marantz..
3. I have a lots of LP records krub.. still in the US, Are there any way that I can bring them here in Thailand and not to lose money.. I do not plan to make a lot of  money krub.. Will exchange with Thai LP if possible.
Too many questions.
