I once used Elite DV79i (same as 989), I unplug the 110 transformer R-core (audio section) and leave the switching power supply to the video section, plug the unit with 220v, it works fine.

Most DVD and Blu-ray players nowaday use swtiching power supply, If U can take the picture in-side of the player, I can be of help.

ข่าวด่วนยังไม่ได้กรองจากเพื่อนในวงการท่านหนึ่งว่า Panasonic BD80 เข้ามาแล้วกำลังผ่านสมอ.อยู่  ขายภายในหนึ่งเดือนนี้ราคาประมาณสองหมื่นบาท  จริงเท็จกรุณาลองติดตามดูครับ

พอดีมีเพื่อนจะกลับจากอเมริกา ว่าจะฝากซื้อรุ่นใดรุ่นหนึ่ง แต่ยังไม่รู้ว่าใช้กับบ้านเรา อันไหนมีข้อดีข้อเสียยังไง

แต่เท่าที่เห็น Panasonic DMP-BD80 เป็นไฟ 110V/60 Hz. ถ้ามาแปลงไฟ จะใช้ได้หรือเปล่าครับ

ส่วนที่เหมือนกันคงเป็นเรื่อง DVD zone 1 ไม่รู้ว่าทำ all zone ได้หรือเปล่า

เพิ่งซื้อ BD60 ให้หลาน ผมว่าคุณภาพก็ดีมากแล้วหล่ะครับ ส่วน BD80 ท่าทางจะไม่มีไฟ 220V ผมก็หาดูทั่วเอเซีย ยังไม่มีวี่แววเลย

ในลิ้งค์นี้ราคาสูงจัง  ไม่ทราบว่ารวมสเกลเลอร์ด้วยหรือเปล่า

+1 from the post just above. The Panasonic DMP-BD55 and DMP-BD80 is just the right antidote for legacy receivers yours.
By the way I own the BD55, and I can confirm the excellent sound quality from it's multichannel analog outputs, with it's excellent Burr-Brown Dac chip (PCM-1681, 8-channel Dac), and with Elna and Rubycon capacitors in his analog section.

ยังไม่ได้ลอง Oppo แต่ได้ลอง BD80 แล้ว  ขอตอบว่า BD80 เยี่ยมมากกกกกก  ถ้า Oppo จะกินได้ก็ต้องเจ๋งมากกกกกกกกกกกกกกกก
