It is definitely cheaper when it comes to electronics in Singapore. Used set are sometime unreliable. So if you can handle the risk, it is definitely cheaper

Yip, risk is one of the issue on used items.
Normally, you will not buy a used AVR or Power Amp which look old and condition is about 50%.
You can buy used AVR and Power Amp with condition 80-95% close to new. You may also request the seller to open up the cover to check whether this set is already mod.

This is the bad side of buying without warranty but many always thinks the cheaper comes first,never hope someday it would be damaged and can't use the warranty at Singapore.I am curious KCharng How many countries have you been before back in Thailand? Now 4 countries,at least.Sure great experiences.

TV and DVD should buy at Thailand. Now LCD TV,DVD player and CPU are not expensive in Thailand. Stuff new or used speaker, used hi if and AVR you may consider to buy in Singapore. Some collectable HI FI iterms price is lower a lot if you compare in Thailand. Back in Singapore i actually collect used Klipsch speaker and or AVR and power AMP. If you got any stuff you want to let go, please let me know also.
I just brought new Onkyo 876 at THB49,900 two weeks ago due to my Onkyo 989 send for repair. Back in Singapore i may get Onkyo 876 around THB37,000 if i will to include the fright charges around THB7,000 almost close to Thailand price. If you have problem on the Singapore AVR set how?
I maybe able buy a used Onkyo 875 Made In Japan at THB25,000 around two years old set. So in this way i thinks work better for us if you consider this issue.

I've travel in singapore 4 years ago, very very impress that's really clean city , i it so much.

and about food nearly the same with thai
Rice steamed with chicken in singapore very delicious  
and Grilled chicken wing very cool (i can't remember the place a food center la)

Thank,Kennyluck for correct the term Bass Nirvana which I thought about a rock band.The sound and sub should be turned on at comfortable level,not too loud cause it may harm your hearing ability sooner or later.Believe me.

Harming your hearing ability that is for sure and to the extend at HIGH Sound Pressure Level which how much the level will damage your ear?
At current all my 5 speaker are set at 85db SPL. Sub i tune to a level which i thinks is blend in with all the 5 speaker at my own pesonal kind of .
Normally i turn to -10db or -15db for watching movie. That mean estimate at 75db.
But all depend on the recording also. Some movie is record at higher level.
I am listening at my own comfort level. Only some time when i test the movie effect then i turn to -5db volume when Odb is at 85db SPL.
But even at normal listening level, some explodsive scene already can shake the wall if you got two 15" on your system.

Thank,Kennyluck for correct the term Bass Nirvana which I thought about a rock band.The sound and sub should be turned on at comfortable level,not too loud cause it may harm your hearing ability sooner or later.Believe me.
