แม้จะมีลำโพงครบเซ็ต 5.1  ผมก็ดูหนังใช้ 2.1 เพราะพื้นที่จำกัดและไม่อยากลากสายรุงรัง  โดยส่วนตัวผมว่าสนุกหรือไม่สนุกอยู่ที่เนื้อหาของหนัง และภาพที่ปรากฎมากกว่า
แต่ถ้าหากในอนาคตลำโพง HT ทั้งระบบไม่มีสายและมีขนาดเล็กก็น่าเล่นครับ

the only true 2.1 solution is with AV receiver with digital signal processing.. otherwise you are only really getting 2 channel stereo (unless you have a dvd player with on-board dolby/dts decoder ie:5.1 out). The best way, I think, to connect a sub to older stereo amp is via high level speaker out to the subwoofer (provided that it has speaker level input and built-in crossover adjustment) and then using the sub crossover adjustment to pass mid/high level through to the satellites/bookshelf speakers.
