Swasdee krup. :)� I'm new to this site and have been reading the forum for a few days.� Very informative!� I'm a Thai living in Los Angeles and am actively involved in tube/DIY for a few years now.� It's good to see there is an active tube/DIY community in Thailand.� I can read and write Thai, but I don't know how to type in Thai.� �:'(� Just wan't to say hello!

 :) ยินดีครับ  มาไกลเชียว  ขอให้มีความสุขกับเพื่อน ๆ ในเวบบอร์ดนี้นะครับ  มีผลงานดี ๆ ก็โชว์ให้เพ่อน ๆ ได้ชมผลงาน หรือมีเพื่อนที่ชอบ DIY ทางโน้น ก็แนะนำกันมาก็ดีครับ (ถ้าอ่านภาษาไทยออกครับ)

สวัสดีครับคุณ Abmoggy ยินดีต้อนรับสู่โลกของการ DIY แอมป์หลอดแบบ Style ไทยๆ ครับ ;) จริงๆผมว่าที่ US จะได้เปรียบ และ
น่าจะสนุกกว่า หลอดดีๆ หาง่าย และราคาถูกกว่าบ้านเรามาก มา Share ประสบการณ์กัน ก็ดีครับ ว่าแต่ที่ US ตอนนี้พวก DIY เขานิยมทำแอมป์หลอดอะไรกันเล่นล่ะครับ.. :)

Kob Khun everyone for the nice welcome.  ;)  There are alot of people into tube gear. Most buy vintage gear like Dynaco, Heathkit, old japanes integrated amp etc.  If they have money they tend to move up to Scott, Sherwood, McIntosh, and of course Marantz.  Alot of people I come arcoss are Asians.  A lot of Japanese, Koreans, and Chinese are into buying vintage gear.  Some do DIY and they tend to prefer tubes like 300B, 2A3, 45, etc.  I don't have alot of money so I like small power tubes like 6BQ5, 6AQ5, 6V6, etc. People here tend to be in two camp, either SE or PP.  I don't have a preference.  What I like are strange tubes for DIY.  I built a headphone amp using 6922 as driver and 6AS7/6080 as power.  Sounds really good with my Beyerdynamic DT-880M headphones.  Very dynamic and not bass shy.
I also built a small flea powered SE 6AQ5 amp.  Very mellow.  No bass, but oh the vocals are great!

well..... good to have a tube DIYer form USA in here. very wellcom. I went to there 5 y ago. it good place to go see
