พอดีไปเจอกระทู้นี้ http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?p=13138624#post13138624 ก็เลยลองของเสียเลย กับเจ้า 3808
วิธีการก็ไม่ได้ยากอะไรครับ ต่อสาย Lan ที่ connect internet ได้เข้าไป (ของผมใช้ router ADSL) เข้าไปที่ mode network setup มันก็จะจัดการ setup ให้เองโดยอัตตโนมัติ แล้วเข้าไปที่ option firmware update เลือก start แล้วก็รอครับ สรุปว่า ใช้เวลาประมาณเกือบ 1 ชม.ครับ ก็จะได้ firmware ตัวใหม่ล่าสุดมาใช้งานครับผม....
ซึ่งก็จะได้มาเป็น

อ้อ!แถมนิดนึงครับ ตอนนี้ผมต่อเจ้า PS3 ทาง HDMI เข้าที่ 3808 แล้วต่อออกทาง HDMI monitor ของ 3808 ผ่านเจ้า vga converter ไปเข้า MM ได้แล้ว โดยผมไปซื้อ adapter จ่ายไฟ 5v. เข้าที่ตัว vga converter เพิ่ม ตอนนี้ก็เลยดู Bluray 720P และฟังเสียงแบบ uncompress ผ่าน 3808 ได้โดยไม่ต้องใช้ HDMI splitter มาช่วยแล้วครับ happy เลยครับงานนี้ ไม่ต้องซื้อจอใหม่แล้ว รอจน MM เจ๊งเมื่อไหร่ค่อยหาจอ 1080P ครับ อุๆๆ...

Firmware version 1.57 - 3808/4308 owners report:
1. Internet radio stopped displaying song track information for most stations that broadcast song track.
2. Internet radio sometimes stops streaming and requires rebooting the receiver using the small power button.
3. This update fixed GUI crash problems.
4. Receiver gets stuck during update process. After waiting sometimes hours update process still stuck (some modules can take quite a while to update so be patient). First try power cycling receiver using small power button. Second try disabling UPnP on network router, and power cycling receiver. If update still gets stuck for extended period of time try hard reset (instruction link end of this post).
5. Some owners report receiver shows a 3 minute update after 1.57 firmware update. The 3 minute update notice continues to show despite trying to perform the 3 minute update.
6. Video sync loss on main Zone for 1-2 seconds intermittent when a program fades to black and using Svideo on Zone 2. Workaround plug Svideo for source device into an input other then one main Zone (i.e. HDMI) also plugged into. Video sync still lost 1-2 seconds intermittent when a program fades to black on Zone 2 but keeps loss from occurring on main Zone.
7. Web page control 'setup' menu spelling incorrect "INFOMATION". Web page control after selecting 'save' under 'setup' menu the top of the page says "Save Configration"
Firmware version 1.69 - 3808/4308 owners report (firmware update released Feb 16, 2008):
BUGS/UPGRADE ISSUES
1. Internet radio now displays song track information for stations broadcasting song track but no change when song track changes on most stations (does not automatically update on screen). You can press the left arrow, wait a few seconds, and it will then show the current song track playing.
2. Internet radio still at times stops streaming and will not buffer any radio or music server tracks without rebooting the receiver using small power button.
3. When stopping a radio station stream it does not return to the station menu.
4. Crashed WIFI and wired connection on many 4308's. Turn DHCP off/on and search/rescan to resolve and others require hard reset.
5. Loss of video and audio on some 3808's/4308's after update requiring a hard reset of the receiver. Some members report unable to restore saved configuration without loosing video and audio again requiring hard reset to restore video and audio.
6. Loss of Internet radio on 3808/4308 after the update. Sometimes reseting DHCP on the receiver resolves. May require hard reset of the receiver. UPnP enabled on the network router also known to cause connectivity problems.
7. Restorability of configuration settings issue after 1.69 update. Not known why some configurations have restorability issues using prior saved configuration using web interface.
8. Net Radio favorites and presets lost after update on 3808/4308.
9. Some problems connecting to update server possibly caused by UPnP being enabled on the network router.
10. Intermittent update problems using Comcast Internet. Problem resolved by taking the receiver to another location with different ISP and performing firmware update. Denon aware of the issue.

12. Receiver shows a 4 minute update after firmware 1.69 update performed. The 4 minute update notice continues to show despite trying to perform the 4 minute update. Receiver does not show 'latest' after trying to perform the 4 minute update. Owner reported problem to Denon, resolution pending.
13. Continually retrying the update when receiving 'connection failed' message. If receiver says "Please wait... Update Retry" be patient and wait for update to complete or 'connection failed'. If 'connection failed' then verify network connectivity to the receiver, UPnP is disabled on network router, turn DHCP off/on and verify IP settings or set fixed IP on receiver, then power cycle receiver using small power button. You may receive "Please wait... Update Retry" and then 'connection failed' many times until firmware update finally completes.
Note: Per Denon instruction links posted, do not power cycle or reset the receiver when update in process.
14. After continually retrying the update when receiving "Please wait... Update Retry" and "connection failed" #13 this list and still firmware update incomplete, update completed following this procedure:
14.1) Unplug the Ethernet cable.
14.2) Turn off the main power.
14.3) Hold down the 'Standard' and 'DSP Sim' buttons (note: microprocessor reset "hard reset")
14.4) Turn on the main power
14.5) After the display flashes 5 times or so release the buttons
14.6) After the unit finishes booting up turn off the main power
14.7) Hold the 'up' and 'down' arrow buttons (note: this described in instructions procedure #2 for firmware prior to 1.57)
14.8) Turn on the main power
14.9) After the display flashes 5 times or so release the buttons.
14.10) Re-connect the Ethernet cable
14.11) After you see an IP address in network info, try updating the firmware again.
Note: Per Denon instruction links posted, do not power cycle or reset the receiver when update in process.

16. Analog FM radio station frequencies being skipped even though valid frequencies in Australia. Rescan did not resolve.
17. Many people with 3808/4308 report no problems updating to firmware 1.69. No hard reset required. Configuration retained.
FIXED/IMPROVED
1. When using a USB drive the playback mode Repeat and Random work now.
2. DTS-HD MA 7.1 now reporting correctly on display. Also reported fixed by Jeff Talmadge director product development Denon USA.
3. Ethernet operations seem to work faster. (i.e. Internet Radio, saving configuration, Command3808 queries). These firmware modules were updated and acceptance time from remote/IP/232 improved as reported by Jeff Talmadge.
4. Music streaming control through web interface works faster. Likely perceived due to scrolling not being painted twice and acceptance time from remote/IP/232 improved as reported by Jeff Talmadge.
5. Configuration settings should be retained after update.
6. Base seems fuller and more realistic
Jeff Talmadge- Director of Product Development Denon USA reports on Feb 19, 2008 the following are fixed in firmware 1.69 released February 16, 2008:
3808CI/4308CI:
1. Firmware update stops to display 'Ether WP 01MIN' and 'UPDATE CHECK OK' - fixed
2. When scrolling on Net/USB, each step is painted twice - fixed
3. Acceptance time for remote/IP/232 commands is 4 seconds - fixed, down to 2 seconds
4. Internet Radio song/title information has been restored - note, not all channels broadcast this information
5. Connectivity to Wi-Fi access points with SSID information with 'spaces' in the name has been corrected
6. The "Cars" BD disc has a Dolby TrueHD 6.1 soundtrack, however these units would display and playback only HD 5.1 - this is corrected.
7. Same as 2808CI/988 with 'New Line Cinema' dts-HD MA 7.1 titles where the front panel display would show 'dts Surround' and only 5.1 channels - this is corrected. It will show dts-HD MA 7.1.

ชุดของผมใช้กับ Bose AM10 ก็ต้องต่อผ่านชุด bass module ของ Boss ก่อนครับ ยกเว้น center ที่ใช้รุ่น VC-10 ต่อตรงมาจาก 3808 ครับ

ผมเพิ่งจะอัพไปเมื่อวันศุกร์ที่ผ่านมา อัพเสร็จลองฟังแป๊ปเดียวเพราะจะนอนแล้ว ผมว่าอัพแล้วเสียงเปลี่ยนจากเดิมเหมือนกัน เดี๋ยววันจันทร์จะกลับไปฟังว่าต่างจากเดิมตรงไหนบ้าง

เมื่อว่านน้องหมีสอน up firmware ใช้เวลาโดยรวม 80 นาที นั่งลุ้นอย่าให้ไฟตกอยู่เมื่อกัน ตอนอัพเสร็จมันขึ้นภาษาอังกฤษว่า un อะไรไม่อยู่อ่านไม่ทัน หมีรู้ไม๊มันคืออะไร
หลังจากอัพ เซ็ท ดู ทุกเมนูรู้สึกว่ายังเหมือนเดิม ยังไม่เห็นมีเมนูอะไรเปลี่ยนไป ค่าต่าง ๆ ที่ตั้งไว้ก็ยังเหมือนเดิม
ที่รู้สึกได้คือเสียง ไม่แน่ใจว่าคิดไปเองป่าว เสียงแหลมชัดขึ้น พุ่งขึ้น เสียงเหมือนมีพลังมากขึ้น โดยรวมรู้สึกว่าเสียงดีขึ้น ส่วนภาพ ไม่รู้สึกว่าแตกต่างจากเดิม
ท่านอื่นอัพแล้วเป็นอย่างไรบ้าง มาเล่าให้ฟังหน่อย

ผมไม่ได้นั่งมองว่ามันขึ้นอะไรครับ พอเสร็จแล้วมันก็เปิดให้ใหม่ เมนูต่างๆ ก็เหมือนเดิม แต่เสียงเปลี่ยนไปจริงๆ เคยติมันที่รายละเอียดเสียงมันน้อยไป พออัพแล้วดีขึ้นครับ c)
เสียงมันเคลียร์ชัดกว่าเดิม d_d ตอนอัพแล้วฟังใหม่ๆ เหมือนสปีดเสียงมันเร็วกว่าเดิม แต่พอใช้ไปสักพักก็หาย หรือชินหว่า :shutup

BUGS/UPGRADE ISSUES
1. Web controller NET/USB Internet radio or local music server track information sometimes does not automatically update on web page when changes during play. Work around click on back arrow navigation control left of 'stop' button on Net Audio web page and wait for refresh.
2. Web controller Setup Menu, Information, Audio Input Signal displays incorrect format 3/3/.1 when should be 3/2/.1 as displayed in GUI interface.
3. Receiver continues to display album art image with screen saver turned on and active (4308 only).
4. When receiving 'connection failed' trying to update firmware Denon technical support advises on or about September 9, 2008 owner having Comcast ISP: "The reason why you are experiencing the "connection failed" when trying to access the firmware update is because Comcast takes much longer to make the connection than the receiver will allow. The AVR-3808CI will take about 30 hops before it times out waiting for the connection. While Comcast takes about 40 hops to connect. Therefore the connection is never made for the download. We are well aware of this issue and if there is a firmware update for comcast users we will make it available. You can take or send the unit to an authorized Denon service center and they will update the receiver with the latest firmware version. The other option, if possible, is to take the unit to a friend or relative's home where a different ISP is used. You will be able to complete the firmware update." Note: Based on Denon's explanation, this issue is not exclusive to Comcast and may be encountered with other ISP's or due to your ISP's current network traffic conditions when trying to update.

ไม่ต้องกลัวเรื่องอัพไม่ผ่านเลยครับ เพราะของผมมันค้างไปสองรอบ พอปิดแล้วเปิดใหม่ มันก็เริ่มโหลดจากที่ค้างไป สบายใจได้ว่าไม่มีพัง ^-^
