หัวข้อ: DCDi จะแสดงประสิทธิภาพ ต่อเมื่อ....

DCDi จะแสดงประสิทธิภาพ ต่อเมื่อ....

ทั้ง จอ เเละ ดีวีดีเพลย์เยอร์ ต้องมี Chip DCDiทั้งคู่ไม่งั๊นไม่มีผล
หรือ มีแค่ที่จอหรือดีวีดีเพลย์เยอร์  เพียงอย่างเดียวก้อได้
หรือ มีทั้งคู่จะดีกว่า ขอรับ

อีกคำถามหนึ่งคือ ไม่ทราบว่า Samsung HD748 ปราบผีเก่งมั๊ยครับ
แล้วก้อ All Zone รึเปล่าครับ

DCDi จะแสดงประสิทธิภาพก็ต่อเมื่อ ... ใช้วงจรแปลงจาก Interlace เป็น Progressive

ถ้าเราเลือกปรับ DVD เป็น Interlace และให้ TVหรือ Scaler ทำ Progressive ก็จะทำ DCDi ที่ TV

ถ้าเราเลือกปรับ DVD ทำ Progressive ก็จะทำ DCDi ที่ DVD

ดังนั้นคำตอบคือ DCDi ที่ใดที่หนึ่งครับ (ถ้ามีทั้งคู่ ก็ใช้ที่เดียวอยู่ดีครับ)

อันนี้แค่สรุปให้ฟังง่ายๆ นะคร้าบบบบบบ  :)

DCDi is a video mode algorithm that stands for Directional Correlation Deinterlacing. It was designed for video based material like fast-paced sporting events. Its purpose is to eliminate jagged edges (jaggies) along diagonal lines caused by interpolation. If you remember, you are not simply weaving together two fields of video that match, you have to create new information through the art of interpolation which is really a fancy way to say you are guessing. DCDi monitors edge transitions and fills in the gaps. The technology was introduced a few years back in the digital format translator, a $50,000 system that broadcasters like CBS use to upconvert NTSC to HD. It was/is used to upconvert standard definition material (480i, what we have on conventional TV) to enhanced definition quality (480p). You may already being enjoying DCDi today on your digital TV. ..........

All the benefit was not lost if you watch film based material. 

If the production of film based material is not really good, the player is likely to drop from the film mode to video mode.  And the benefit of DCDi will, again, kick in at this point

แต่คิดอีกมุมนึง .... ถ้าคุณภาพของ film mode drop ลงจนเครื่องเล่นต้องมา process แบบ video mode แล้ว สงสัยว่า คุณภาพตอนนั้นถึงใช้ dcdi ช่วยก้อคงไม่น่าพอใจมากนักมั๊งครับ   :)

The Genesis chip's tends to go into video mode more often (when there are hiccups in the 3-2 cadence) and stay there longer. Because of the DCDi™ processing, it's not always obvious when the Genesis goes into video mode

I agree krub.  I think it's better than nothing but I wouldn't buy DCDi just for DVD with bad progressive flagging
