DENON DVD-A1UD(why not BDP?) The first universal BD player,play all kinds of discs(BD,ALL ZONE DVD,SACD,DVD-AUDIO,etc),loading time is faster than the top end of the orther brand.The picture quality is top notch(just trying a few discs),the audio quality is also the best when using with A1HD series.The full review is coming soon.P.S.If A1UD using along with AVP and POA-A1HD,the sound is very superb quality for AVP direct mode,this one has 2 HDMI output,1 for sound,1 for picture.If anyone is interested in this one,BUYING AT SINGAPORE is a lot cheaper for 30000-50000 bahts.

Thanks,External appearance:looking very beutiful and solid building,more wt. than LX 91,well matching with my AVP,POA-A1HD.The features are very interesting:2 HDMI out,1 for video,2 for audio like LX 91,Balance and Unbalance 2 channels for CD audio(very high quality sound for cd,the same sound as my DCD 2000AE.So this A1UD is great quality for HT soundtrack and music listening(cd,multichannels sacd). :) :secret O0

Sure love this DENON krub cause it is well matching with my system but I hate the price(again,it is all discs player with high quality sound and picture so that's why it's expensive).The SOUND as I expected,THE GREAT in music(cd,multichannels sacd) like the expensive CD player(cannot find in BD player for good music listening),The VERY GREAT for BD HD SOUND,I use HDMI mode;AVP direct,the sound and surround is in very details,more opening look alike my room is bigger. O0 Y]

Watchmen sound was great in WB's the first DTS-HD MA,the breaking glass sound,great surround sound in this BD.This film was very intense for violent,sex,nudity and 3 hours running time,with this A1UD,the sound was very in details more than LX91.Friday the 13 th(new version),I can heard a lot of surround details more than before.

Thank krub.Video quality:Standard picture mode without picture adjustment is also great,rich in black level,more saturated in color,David Foster&friends The Hit Man and Chris Botti Live in Boston for examples(ดูจนชินตาแล้ว).Vertical stretch mode for full screen in 16.9 monitor is useless for me but may be useful in 16:9 screen users.The sound of concert BD is better than LX 91. :secret Y]

P Prasert is very good memory krub,in my recollection of Denon,began with 2000 then 3000 then DVD-A1(heavy one)then DVD-A1-XV(A) and this one.The name of this unit may mistaken as a dvd player(DVD-A1UD),in fact it should be BDP-A1UD,I think. :)

Cannot tell krub cause this is the first 5 units,3 were already preordered include this one.The preordered units's price is a lot cheaper than you can imagine.Also,This A1UD and LX91'S price cannot be equal cause in USA,A1UD=4500 USD and LX91=22OO USD(Thai=120000 BHT,retailer=10800 BHT). :)

Thanks krub Aragorn for the price you told.About DL 4th edition,I already tried it out with AVR 4310(already DL 4th ),the sound quality is not better than good HDMI cable krub.BTW,4310 is the midend AVR that I think it is very great sound,maybe the same as the top except for the power.Congratutation krub about new A1UD. I bought this one at the price 142000 bahts from Mahajak(silver version,black version must be from US) but at Singapore seems liked the price is 122$$$ bahts,I can accept this price in Thailand for insurrance.HDMI mode;AVP direct for AVP-A1HD is superb sound quality,btw.Next project,Marantz-UD9004 this september(6000 USD),I was told the price for me is 182000 bhts(may be too expensive to buy).

Agreed,the standard picture quality is great without picture adjustment,also the sound is even greater when using with DENON AVC,AVP. O0 O0

คุณหมอไพรัตน์ เยี่ยมจรืง ๆ ครับ ได้ลองเล่นสุดยอดบลูเรย์ มาทุกรุ่นเลย แล้วตกลงถ้าเทียบด้านภาพอย่างเดียวระหว่าง A1UD กับ UD9004 ต่างกันไหมครับ แล้วต่างกันด้านไหนบ้างครับ เห็นใช้ Chip และบอร์ดด้านภาพน่าจะรุ่นเดียวกันเลย แต่ต่างกันที่ของ UD9004 หม้อแปลงเป็นเทอร์ลอยด์ แล้วหุ้มด้วยทองแดงด้วย อย่าทราบว่ามีผลขนาดไหน แล้วคุณหมอชอบรุ่นไหนมากกว่ากันครับ

Yes,this is Onkyo PR-SC 5507 with Lexicon power amp Z 7 krub connected by 7 XLR and 1 subwoofer.The sound is absolutely greater than AVR especially movie sound but not so good for music.Like I told before,Onkyo is always heat even this is a preprocessor.The top end AVR,NR 7003 will be coming soon.

Deep Impact and Wolverine after tested with pre 5507,the sound quality was very great,the surround seperation at the end of Deep Impact(when the ocean rises,heaven falls,Hope survives)was greater as BD. :D O0 O0

The price of Denon Onkyo Pioneer Marantz is always the cheapest in this planet called Earth at Singapore so I try not to thinking about it.I sure the price of UD 9004 is less than 150000 bahts and knew the price of Denon-A1UD is 125000 bahts.So sorry from my work,cannot go to buy at Singapore so I must tolerate it but on the bright side it is good with insurrance also the bad side the companies in Thai Why so greedy so much?

Sometime,XLR is not better than RCA,a good ones.Lexicon,to me is too bright sound and with horns loudspeakers like JBL ARRAY also Klipsch,the sound is very bright unlike NAD M25,the sound is warmer with MK speaker,I think it would be rather a good matching. :drive1

Thank you again Khub I think this is kind that I am going to 5507 + M25 Y] Y] Coz I have chatted with Khun ยง101 lot n lots that I may get Denon 4310 later I will use 4310 as a prepro + M25 with M&K but I think 5507+m25 must get better matching than AVR4310
More options that I wonder how about pre/pro (5507+M25 ) VS. Denon AVC1HD(A) with m&K I think A is stand for D-Link 4 upgrade version,isn't it ? AVC1HD is 5308 US version as I know,5310 4810 is right at the conner now also I know You คุณหมอPairat is big fan of Denon hehehehehe..

About Denon A1HD A,A stands for Audyyesy Volume and it is DL 3 edition.Anyway don't serious about DL,to me it is not better than a good HDMI,already tried it with AVR 4310 and A1UD and the result was a waste of my time including Dolby Prologic 2 Z.

All I said is the second system,the first system is Denon all,AVP/POA-A1HD with Denon A1UD and JBL project array system,which is far more better sound than pre Onkyo 5507.

and my next up grade will be BD player .. maybe Khun Yong101 will give me a good deal of LX91 50% hehehehe but... I would love to get BD player with HD SDI..

Just buy a new M25 after sold it,with Pre-SC550,the sound is sure greater even Audioquest analogs RCA,better than Lexicon with Audoquest XLR. :)

Just buy a new M25 after sold it,with Pre-SC550,the sound is sure greater even Audioquest analogs RCA,better than Lexicon with Audoquest XLR. :)

Me too,Sometime we must let these MahaHod companies know that the price in Thai is too much for overprice ,cannot stand anymore.All mine was bought in here and after I heard the price at SG made me pissed off. :'(

To be hornest with you,this 5507 is good at movie sound but for the music with my JBL PROJECT ARRAY system which is very great sound with DENON AVR-A1HD.With 5507 the music sound is sucked for now. N] :secret
