Hello from KL again krub. After spending time looking for big screen TV. I'm interested in new 40" Sony Bravia LCD and new 43" Pioneer Plasma TV(PDP-436HDG). Below is a link for specification of the SONY LCD. It is already in Malaysia market with the price about 160,000 baht.

Which one should I go for? And what do you think about this new SONY LCD in term of price and specification? Thank you krub.

I had seen Bravia in HongKong 2 weeks ago, and was very impressed by its picture quality though it was showing a demo dvd from Sony. From that demo dvd, White level and Black level were excellent, motion was still not so smooth as CRT but could compete well with Plasma.  Resolution and color saturation were also excellent. Perhaps, that demo dvd was intended to show off its hidef-like quality. Unfortunately, i didn't have chance to check its quality on normal dvd.

I had also seen other brands (both LCD and Plasma) in several stores nearby but i think Bravia is the best, even better than most Plasma. However, it was no A/B test, so be careful to check, test and compare before you buy. 

Overall, it was the first time that LCD is much better than i thought.

Thank you for the comment krub. By the way, what is A/B test krub? When I calculate the price again, this 40" LCD costs 172,000 baht. So I'm still thinking whether I should go for it or just buy 32" Ben-Q LCD which will cost me lower than half price of the Bravia (32" Ben-Q DV3250 = 65,000 baht here) then I can spend the rest of budget for reciever and speaker set.

หมายถึงการเทียบ  display 2 เครื่องโดยเปิดจากเครื่องเล่น   เครื่องเดียวกัน เพื่อดูความแตกต่างระหว่างเครื่องทั้ง 2 ;)

ได้ไปชม BRAVIA จากงานที่โรงแรมสวิสโฮเต็ลเมื่อวันก่อนเปิดจาก Blur-Ray ต้องยอมรับว่าภาพสวยมากครับ :o

น่าสนใจ แต่ผมจะรออีกสักพัก รอให้ฝุ่นเริ่มจางก่อน คิดว่าต้นปีหน้า น่าจะเห็นราคาที่อดใจไม่ไหวนะ
