Kn..Jay krub..
very sorry to write in Thai na krub,my Apple laptop does not haveThai fond krub and am  very slow in typping Thai words forgive me na krub.i am now planing to build new amp using GM70 and the driver 12HG7 as the driver krub but it seems to use a plate choke instead of resister,the value is 100H/850R.,my question is where can i get these choke krub or could i use plate resister and what the value of resistance?kob khun mak mak krub :help

I'd recommend using 12HG7/12GN7 in pentode mode rather than using triode. Using triode is not bad but you'll loose it's transconductance when using triode mode. You might want to copy Pete Millette's design for the driver.

FOR MY UNDERSTANDING IF WE LOOSE TRANSCONDUCTANCE WHAT WILL AFFECTT THE SOUND KRUB.TODAY I HAVE ORDERED 12BH7 AND SOME CAPACITORS FROM TUBE STORE AND WILL BE ARRIVED THIS WEEK KRUB.

Transconductance (Gm) may contribute some characteristic to the sound but it's depend on the taste. The advantage of high Gm tube is you can have low impedance and high gain stage. You may like the sound of 12GN7 in triode mode. I just recommended you try a proven design first.

12BH7 is also a good tube. It's an uprate 6SN7 to me. Very good for linestage.
