ได้ลองอ่านข้อมูลจาก link ข้างต้น น่าสนใจดีครับ Tube Driver Blue เป็น design tube amplifier แบบใหม่ของ BK Butler ซึ่งได้จดลิขสิทธิ์ไว้� เป็น twin-triode ใช้ไฟต่ำมากแค่ 5% ของ spec หลอดเท่านั้น ทำให้มีสีหลอดเป็นสีฟ้า เขาบอกว่าเป็น near electron-emission voltage จึงไม่ทำให้หลอดเสื่อมแม้แต่น้อย (ไม่ต้องเปลี่ยนหลอดเลยตลอดชีวิต) และไม่มี output transformer (output-transfomerless, OTL) โดยใช้ output current multipler แทนเพื่อเปลี่ยน high-impedance low-current ของหลอดเป็น low-impedance high-current ของลำโพง จึงสามารถทำให้มีกำลังขยายถึง 250 วัตต์ได้� ภาค output ของหลอดจะต่อกับลำโพงจึงทำให้มีความเป็นเสียงหลอดอย่างแท้จริงครับ BK บอกว่าสามารถเปิดเครื่องทิ้งไว้ได้ตลอดเวลาเลยยังประกัน 5 ปีด้วยครับ

ดูเหมือนเค้าจะใช้วงจรประเภท impedance conversion อะไรประเภทนี้ครับ ผมเคยเห็นแอมป์ของ David Berning ทำอะไรคล้ายๆแบบนี้ แค่เค้าได้แค่วัตต์เดียว แต่นี่ได้เป็นร้อยๆวัตต์นี่ผมไม่ทราบเหมือนกันครับ

มีใครทราบว่าหลอดของ Bulter Tube Driver Blue เป็นยี่ห้ออะไร หรือ ผลิตที่ไหนครับ เพิ่งได้แอมป์ติดรถยนต์ Tube Driver Blue มา เสียงสุดยอดจริงๆ กินแอมป์วดังๆอย่าง Sondstream Class A, McIntosh, Audison VRx, Brax ตัวละ 7-8 หมื่น

In the late summer of 2000, all these efforts finally paid off. An open-ended (ZERO negative feedback), 6SL7GT twin-triode tube-driven design operating in a near plate-saturated mode continuously, a totally unique load-mirroring circuit and employing no output transformers! This new design not only exceeded the superior sonic characteristics of the original TubeDriver 1500, but actually rivaled Butler Audio′s laboratory "all tube" reference amps of the time! After many enhancements of the basic discovery were implemented, BK Butler was finally satisfied and designated the now patented circuitry as "Tube Driver BLUE".
