Just want to add a bit. The top load, US styled washer, uses more water and detergent per load but is faster vs. front load. However, it is believed that front load gives a cleaner wash.

One thing I consider important is the spin dry speed. The better one has a speed higher than 1,000 rpm. The higher the speed, the faster your cloth will dry, particularly if you opt for a dryer (not many
