This concert special captures Michael Buble; working his vocal magic on a diverse selection of songs from his current hit album, MICHAEL BUBLE;: IT'S TIME, including: "Feeling Good," "I've Got You Under My Skin," "Song for You," "Save the Last Dance for Me," and "Home."
Although he had been performing in Canada since his teens and even released a few independent albums, Michael Buble;'s career really took off after he played at the wedding of former Canadian prime minister Brian Mulroney's daughter in 2000. The PM, already a fan, touted the young singer to one of the wedding guests, uber music producer David Foster. Foster soon signed Buble; to his label, 143 Records. The singer's first CD with the label, MICHAEL BUBLE;, was released in 2003 and followed by 2004's compilation CD/DVD of studio recordings and live performances, COME FLY WITH ME. On his 2005 CD, IT'S TIME, Buble; again puts his spin on modern pop hits and American standards, but also offers an original composition he cowrote, "Home."
