http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=536208&page=2There is an updated firmware - v47 - sent by philips...
What it does ? we don't know, at least nothing visible...
It can be found here for sometime :
http://momobu.free.fr/SD5.2-900SA-47.zip.
As usual, use it at your own risk....
There is two files and PDF instructions... Here is a quick translation :
1) Burn 2 files (awaredvd.bin and PRODINFO.TXT) on a CDR (or CDRW) in ISO9660 no multisession, closed disk (1).
2) Unplug HDMI
3) Start player, wait for « no disc ». Double check « HDMI » is not displayed in LCD.
4) Insert CD in tray and close tray.
5) « Upgrading » is displayed on LCD as update occurs. Do not unplug or touch anything.
6) When tray open, remove CD, do not close tray.
7) Unplug player from power source.

Wait a minute, re-plug player, wait a minute (player should re-init, tray close, etc.)
9) Start player with remote or keyboard.
10) You must reset changes, with no disc in player, press : “PLAY” 159 222 017 00 “PLAY” with remote
11) You may then choose multizone : PLAY 159 222 222 005 255 PLAY
12) Wait few seconds, screen goes to black and then player restart and normal screen is on…
13) Enjoy !
(1) If your player dislique the CDR disk, fill it with a garbage file… Any large file will be fine, simply change extention do .jnk.
As said, do it at your own risk.
